In order to make it through the long, cold winters of  Montana, it is not uncommon to see many folks adorning much hairier features than what you might consider... normal.

Tug of war (also known as war of tug, tug o' war, tug war, rope war, rope pulling, or tugging war) is a sport that puts two teams directly against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction against the force of the opposing team's pull.

Bonnie Knees

In any Highland Games celebration, one of the most popular events is the bonnie knees contest. In this competition, a trio of ladies from the audience are selected to be judges and a number of men sign up to be the contestants. The ladies are then blindfolded and are forced to judge the knees of the men using only the sense of touch as a point of reference.
