5th Annual Bitterroot Valley Highland Games at Lewis & Clark Park in Stevensville, MT. Event is free for the public. This is Montana's first games of the season on April 18, 2020. This is a great way to start the highland game season, or try the games for the 1st time. The competition will include 9 highland game events and will begin at 10am. Please register online https://www.saaanr.org/ by April 4 to guarantee a games shirt. At from 1pm-1:30pm athletes will have a practice for the kids. An Celtic informational tent will be provided by the Bitterroot Celtic Society. Pantry Partners of Stevensville will be collecting non perishable items. Food will be available for purchase. Short presentations on various aspects of Irish culture including History, Dress, Music, Northern Ireland and more. There will be interactive items including learning a dance, making a St Brigid's cross, and tastings.
Special guests: 2 Irish Fulbright teachers from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
